All Saints Church Outreach Ministry is based on Paul writings in 1 Corinthians 9:22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.  Keeping this in mind, we felt that our outreach ministry should address two things, one is meeting the spiritual need as well as social/physical needs of the unreached people. Addressing spiritual & social/physical needs are like the two wings of an aircraft. Our primary objective is to share the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST with love and without hurting their faith and beliefs. When we go outside to share the Gospel - we are aware of the hostile environment but Our Lord’s greatest word of assurance for us is “FEAR NOT I AM ALWAYS WITH YOU.” This enables us to do the outreach programs.

By God’s immense Mercy & Grace, we could do a few outreach programs. The year 2017 has been a good beginning for Outreach ministry.

Karunashraya Hospital (palliative care): On January 08, 2017, we visited Karunashraya and did some Gospel singing, preaching and prayed for patients. We had representation from all wings of the Church -  Men’s Fellowship, Women’s Fellowship & Sunday School. We also formed in groups of two, three & four and visited each patient personally and prayed for them. We took some Bread cakes, buns, chocolates, fruits, Dettol, Sanitizer bottles & Kora cloth (to cover patients when they are dead). We were moved by seeing their suffering and hopelessness. We spoke about Our Lord’s comforting assurance of heaven after this earthly life.  For more details of Karunashraya Hospital, please check the website: http://www.karunashraya.org

Leprosy Hospital Campus (Magadi Road) : This Hospital comes under the Karnataka State Health System Resource Centre. On February 12, 2017, we visited this hospital which has around 50 to 60 patients which includes men & women wards. We went to each ward sang some vernacular Gospel songs, preached the Gospel and distributed some eatables to all patients. We interacted with few of them and some patients are old staying from 30 years. Some patients do their street begging and come and stay during night times. We found few of them who can read and based on their request we distributed Gideons New Testament Bibles.

We have some upcoming programs planned for the month of March & April. On 26th March, Sunday – we have plans to visit Sneha Care Home (http://www.snehacarehome.org) – A Home away from home for children living with HIV since 2008. In-fact from Men Fellowship – two of them visited Sneha Care Home and met Father Jaison who is taking care of this Home and understood the need of the Home.
In the month of April, we have plans to visit some villages surrounding Bidadi for sharing the Gospel. Already we are in touch with one missionary Subbe Gowda, who is doing some very good ministry in those villages.

Please uphold us in your prayers for the outreach ministries. When we pray together – half the work is done and rest God’s hand will move. “Satan dreads nothing but prayer. His one concern is to keep the Christians from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, prayerless religion. He laughs at our toil, he mocks our wisdom, but he trembles when we pray.” ― Samuel Chadwick
